TransVerse is up for an award!

I’m excited to announce that one of my books has again been nominated for the Summer Indie Book Awards. Last year I was thrilled to get 3rd place in Novella/Short Stories with my book When the Ink Runs Dry. This year, TransVerse has been nominated in poetry!

Voting is totally free and takes about a minute to do. You can vote every day until the 10th, at midnight Central time. I really appreciate all the votes I get, and thank you all for the support!

My name is Theodore Ashford, and I'm an author. I've been writing my entire life, though I first started sharing my work with others in 2006. Since then, I've been dedicated to learning as much as I can about the craft, and helping others to do the same. I'm also one of the Municipal Liaisons for the Portland area for National Novel Writing Month, which I've been doing since 2015. It's a whirlwind of fun, and if you haven't tried it yet, you should! In the summer of 2014, I spoke at TEDxYouth@Portland. My topic was "Finding Yourself," and I spoke about my personal journey through homelessness and other hardships, and what I learned about becoming who you're meant to be. Aside from writing, you'll usually find me playing with my cats, drinking tea, or (if I'm feeling ambitious) failing at something I saw that one time on Pinterest. I live with my spouse in Portland, Oregon.
